Does it work?
No idea. I don't weigh myself.
But I feel good. I really do. The fasting days are not easy though. I have figured out that if I eat dinner and then am done by 8 pm and then skip breakfast the next morning and make it to lunch time, that seems to work fine.
I think for me, if anything, it's a psychological positive mindfuck. I often think about what I eat and how much, but I noticed immediately that after the fast day, I felt lighter and more energized (not hungry either) and it felt completely fine to have a good breakfast and a good lunch. Now, don't get me wrong, I tend to eat good breakfasts and lunchs, but let's say I had a Sunday carb heavy breakfast, then by lunchtime I will usually go for a salad or so. Anyway. Didn't do much of that this week. I also didn't go crazy and overindulged, but I had a couple of indulgences that would usually put me on the "guilt tripping chair" and they didn't this time.
So for nothing else, that's a good thing.
Will I continue it? No idea. It's still so new, but it's do-able and I do feel good the days after a fasting day. So there. Definitely not a result driven blogpost :)
