I am a snacker and a mindless eater.
I totally am! It's annoying! I so need to get a grip on that! I like to pick on things. I mean, put a batch of brownies in the kitchen and this one here won't have a proper piece of brownie. No no. Not me. But I WILL walk by about 10 times and cut off the tiniest sliver of brownie. Surely by the end of that I have easily consumed one brownie. So why not just have the brownie instead of constantly snacking?
It is definitely a waste of my calories that I could easily deploy in other areas. :)
There is an entire book "mindful" eating out there. But seriously. I don't lthink I need a book for that. Just freaking stop picking on things - shouldn't be that difficult.
